EPECskillastics-xp2A pre-conference session scheduled by the NYSAHPERD will kick off the new alliance between EPEC (Exemplary Physical Education Curriculum) and Skillastics.  Glenna DeJong, Ph.D. of EPEC, and Sandy Slade, founder of SKILLASTICS, will be co-presenting at the session with a focus on the core EPEC K-5 curriculum which now has been Activated with Skillastics!

EPEC Activated with Skillastics marries the research- and standards-based curriculum of EPEC with the skill reinforcement through Skillastics activities to help students develop competencies and confidence, and to provide ample practice and activity so students are prepared for physically active lives.   The presenters will demonstrate the EPEC and Skillastics united approach to physically educating students that is easy to use and that works!

Earlier this year, the two organizations announced the new alliance with the aim of providing an expanded product offering that would assist physical educators to better physically educate our nation’s youth for a lifetime of health and wellness.

EPEC-ball-toss-xpTogether, we at EPEC and Skillastics are extremely excited about our newly-formed alliance and the benefits of merging these two terrific programs.  We appreciate the opportunity to feature our new alliance at the NYSAHPERD pre-conference session and look forward to sharing this information at other conferences throughout the country.
